Once approved, the outline is gently created, followed by numbing. After you’re fully comfortable, pigment is shaded into the lips using a digital machine and sterile cartridge. Pigment and numbing are layered throughout the process to ensure comfort and even colour saturation.

• Avoid caffeine and alcohol 24 hours before your appointment
• Avoid blood thinners (Advil, Ibuprofen, Vitamin E, Niacin) 48–72 hours prior unless medically necessary
• Avoid exercise and excessive sweating the day of your appointment
• Avoid chemical peels, lasers, retinol, vitamin E, and fish oil for at least 4 weeks prior
• If prone to cold sores, obtain antiviral medication from your doctor
• Keep lips well-hydrated with lip balm for 7 days before your appointment
